About Hiding in Books
The Story behind Hiding in Books:
About 20 years ago I began a blog chronicling some of the items I found between the pages of old books. I was collecting books and because of space limitations and an obsession with buying books, I began selling off some of what I had acquired. I admit I wasn't great at keeping the blog going but I continued collecting, selling and finding. I continue to sell through Amazon and eBay but sometimes they are not the best avenues for book lovers to purchase books, so here we are in 2023 finally, (after much prodding to do so), launching Hiding in Books the website. I hope together we can provide very interesting books and book related items for those out there who are interested in the world of old books.
Our eBay Store
On our eBay store we currently list the items that we think are more for collectors, this is where you would find older editions, signed books, 1st Editions, etc, along with antique book or library focused items such as book stands, bookends etc...
Our Amazon Listings
In our Amazon store I list more modern books aimed at the casual reader as well as more scholarly titles. Its very hard to find stores via the Amazon interface so this is a link to my listings. Some of the items listed in my Amazon store will ship directly from Amazon and some will ship directly from me.
